1. Ink color

2. The concept of the same color and different spectrum of printing decoration

to meet the needs of the color varieties of packaging and printing inks, it is not enough to rely on a few existing colors. Only through a certain color matching process can we get the requirements of the serialization of finished color inks in the market. The new color hue is obtained once the intermediate color or multicolor is printed, which is not only in line with the normal law of packaging and printing, but also in line with the law of color matching

Ink color samples with different spectral distribution are very important for color matching of color packaging printing ink. That is, different ink colors can be used to mix varieties of the same ink color. In the actual color matching, it can only reach a certain degree of approximation, and can be evaluated by the curve shape of spectral reflectance factor. The more similar and coincident the reflectance factor curves of two samples, the more intersection points, the more it can be proved that the prepared color is similar to the sample. The color difference value can also be calculated from the chromaticity of two ink samples for quantitative analysis. It shows the degree of their same color and different spectrum

3. Basic knowledge of color blending

in the packaging and printing ink system, the binder is colorless or slightly colored liquid, and the refractive index is very close to water, so the binder has a certain transparency. When pigments and fillers are added, because the pigments and fillers block the light, the optical properties of the ink change

when sunlight enters the ink film of yellow color printing ink, it means that it absorbs the blue spectrum in sunlight and emits yellow and green light. When the reflected yellow light and green light meet blue pigment particles, they often absorb the reflected blue light, leaving only green light. Thus, after a series of reflection and refraction, it only reflects the green ink film. Therefore, we call this kind of printing ink color mixing subtractive mixing (mutual absorption of their required wavelengths, but will not be reflected by the absorption spectrum), which is the origin of mixed color (or multicolor)
